Electric drawer runner - build your own electric drawer - electric telescopic runners
With an electric drawer runner, you can build an electric drawer yourself. Use our electric telescopic runners to automate drawers. In addition to the well-known drawer opening systems from the manufacturers Blum, Hettich or Grass, there are also special opening systems for larger drawers where a lot of weight or lift is required. Here you will find some solutions for realising projects with self-built, large drawers.

Build your own electric drawer
If you want to build an electric drawer yourself, it is important to know in advance what load capacity you need and what the drawer's own weight is. This will allow you to select the correct electric telescopic runners to drive the electric drawer you have built yourself. Depending on the weight and pull-out length, you will also need two laterally positioned pull-outs to support the electric telescopic runner. There are single, double and triple telescopic drawer runners. If the drawer has to carry particularly heavy loads, the pull-outs can also be used several times on each side of the drawer. The load capacity is then added together. However, if the required load capacity is too high, we recommend using heavy-duty drawer runners to support the electric telescopic runners. Basically, building your own electric drawers is not a problem if you are familiar with technical equipment and the realisation of furniture projects.
Operating electric telescopic runners
You can operate electric telescopic runners using a control unit and the appropriate control panel. This is possible using a wired handset, the Bluetooth wireless remote control or a free smartphone app.

Adjustability of electric telescopic slides
You can programme the electric telescopic slides with millimetre precision. This can be done using programming software or via the smartphone control app described above. Set a front and rear end point and adjust the speed as required.
Anti-trap protection for the automatic telescopic runners
The automatic telescopic rails are equipped with anti-collision detection via the control system. You can also set the response behaviour of the anti-collision via the software or app described above. If an obstacle is detected due to a collision when the drawer is extended or retracted, the drawer stops and unclamps the object it has hit.
