Lift system for wall units and kitchen wall units

We offer you a wide range of solutions for realising height-adjustable wall units. Convert your wall unit with lift function into a height-adjustable wall unit. Kitchen wall units with a motor make it easier for you to remove kitchen items. Lowerable wall units are often used in barrier-free kitchens.

Here you can find out how to create a kitchen wall unit with a lift function

Kitchen wall units with a lift function are often not available off the shelf. It is therefore advisable to look for a kitchen builder or furniture maker you trust. With our lift systems for lowerable wall units, you can lower kitchen wall units of different sizes. The lift systems for wall units can be installed in 2 different ways:

1. Installing the lift system for wall units behind the wall unit

In this installation variant, the lift system is fitted behind the wall unit. The lift system is first fixed to the wall and then the wall cabinet is screwed directly onto the lift system using the fixing lugs. It is operated using a handset on the worktop, which you can then use to control the lowering of the wall unit.

2. Installation of the wall unit lift system underneath the wall unit

With this installation variant, the wall unit lift systems are installed on the side of the wall unit. The wall unit lift system can then be attached to the worktop. With this solution, you have the best lifting values and can also lift wall units with larger loads. One lift system is then required on each side of each wall unit. Here, too, the system is operated using a handset mounted on the worktop.

Operating the lift system for wall units in the kitchen using a handset, Bluetooth (APP) or radio remote control

Alternatively, when using Linak drives, you can also use the Linak smartphone APP or a wireless hand-held transmitter in addition to operation by hand switch. Positions can also be programmed. This gives you a very convenient application.

How to install kitchen wall units with motor correctly on the kitchen wall

When attaching wall units to the wall, you must always ensure that the wall units are permanently subjected to tensile loads. You therefore need to make sure that the wall unit has a very stable attachment to the wall. Depending on the wall, you will need to consider different fixing options. Choose the right wall plug for this. The company Fischer Dübel, for example, has a wide range of fixing plugs to choose from. Once you have selected the correct wall plug with the right screw, you can start by installing the motor system for the drop-down kitchen wall unit on the wall. The motorised system for the kitchen wall unit is already assembled or can be fitted to the wall individually as a two-part kit. Make sure that the screws "pull" properly into the wall plug. The dowel must not rotate. If the wall plug rotates, the fixing is not correct and there is a risk that the kitchen wall unit could fall down. If the screw is seated correctly and firmly, the way is clear for the next assembly steps. Now screw the wall unit to the lift system. To do this, use metric screws and place them on the lift system by pulling the kitchen wall unit. You should fix the control unit for the lift system directly in the cupboard under a shelf. You can also feed the cables through there from the rear wall. Next, connect the handset, Bluetooth dongle or radio remote control to the control unit. You can then plug the mains cable into the socket. The lift system for wall units is then ready for use.
