You can automate your modelling project with a model making lifting cylinder. For example, you could equip your model railway plate with electric height adjustment. Depending on the size of the railway, you can install 2, 4 or more lifting cylinders.
Lifting column for model railway staging yard
We recommend that you make a base frame from square tubing under the railway plate. Screw the base frame to the railway plate from below. Then attach the model railway lifting cylinder (lifting column) to the plate from below and electrify it with the motor cable supplied. You can then operate the modelling lifting cylinders with a wired handset, a control app or via Bluetooth. However, they can also be switched from your switch control centre via the PC using potential-free contacts. Operation via KNX or room control is also possible.
Are Modellbau lifting cylinders adjustable?
The model building lifting cylinders can be adjusted to the millimetre. Programming software (Linak) is also available for this purpose. You can use the programming software to set different end points. You can also use the software to fine-tune the running speed. The control system can permanently monitor the height using Hall sensors.
