Chain drives - powerful window openers

The PA-K-50 chain drive is an electromechanical drive unit for opening and closing windows and flaps. It is used for smoke and heat extraction and natural ventilation. The motor can be mounted on any window profile or frame using different fixing brackets. (The brackets are not included.) All PA-K-50 chain drives are equipped with a rigid chain.

Parameterisation with software interface SICO LINK

The connection is made via the SICO-PLUG connection plug. This contains the SICO BUS programming interface by which parameters such as opening stroke and force can be parameterised and further status messages can be read out. Products of the PA-series are available in different versions as solo and synchro capable actuators. They can be networked with each other in synchronous groups as well as for remote control with SHEV control panels and the building management system. All chain actuators of the PA series are also available in the DA version, which enables connection on both sides.

PA-K-50 chain actuators can be used with additional interlocks

The drive signals a potential-free contact for additional interlocks in the end positions and can therefore be used with interlocking drives in sequence controls. Thanks to the modern, EV1 anodised aluminium profile housing and the compact design, chain drives are ideal for use in demanding residential and commercial properties.

Powerhouse with 500 N - performance features of the PA-K-50/300-S chain drive

The PA-K-50/300-S chain drive is a synchronised drive with integrated load cut-off. The chain drive can be used to automate inward and outward-opening windows and flaps on the façade. Installation is possible on main closing edges. With a pulling and pushing force of 500 N, the PA-K-50/300 chain drive opens and closes windows, doors and flaps for smoke extraction and ventilation. The opening stroke is 300 mm. If required, the stroke can easily be shortened using the SICO LINK software interface.
