The WTS-892 wind and rain detector combination was designed for connection to the SHEV and ventilation control centres from Simon PROtec Systems GmbH. If the wind and/or rain is too strong, the detectors prevent the windows controlled by the control centre from remaining open. The wind force measured by the wind wheel is passed on to the integrated evaluation electronics. This measures the actual value and compares it with the set limit value. If the value is exceeded, a signalling contact activates the "Close" command. Heated sensor plate for greater functional reliability The WTS-892 wind and rain detector is equipped with a heated sensor plate. This prevents false triggering in extreme weather conditions. The wind force limit value can be freely selected (between 1 and 12 Beaufort). The detector is factory-set to 4 Bft. A switch-on delay of up to 24 seconds can be used to bridge any gusts of wind. It is possible to mount the wind and rain detector both on a mast and directly on a wall.
