The WS-890 rain detector is designed for connection to SIMON PROtec Systems GmbH SHEV and ventilation control centres. The detectorprevents the windows controlled by the control centre from remaining open in the event of heavy rain. A heated sensor surface prevents false triggering due to snow, ice or dew. The time period after which the system should react to rain can be set thanks to the built-in time delay.
Functionality check thanks to integrated evaluation electronics
Thanks to integrated evaluation electronics, the rain detector's functionality can be easily tracked. Any defects or malfunctions of the rain detector can be detected and rectified more quickly.
