Modern building design often scores with visually elaborate façades, including unusual window designs, e.g. in triangular or trapezoidal shapes. An innovative solution is required to automatically open such skewed windows outside the visual norm in the event of fire and for daily ventilation purposes. With the newly developed K-KL²-M3D bracket, SIMON PROtec has created a way of opening windows and flaps with special geometries.
Innovative M3D bracket guarantees unlimited design freedom
The K-KL²-M3D bracket is an accessory for folding arm² drives. The M3D bracket was specially developed for the premium drive technology Klapparm² and, together with the unique kinematics of the drive, it achieves what other standardised drive technology fails to do. The bracket offers three degrees of freedom (DOF) and the folding arm² drive can therefore be used on triangular, trapezoidal, arched or slanted windows.
Function:
- Standard bracket set for outward-opening bottom-hung and top-hung sashes, installation on the main and secondary closing edge.
- Upper bracket M3D with three degrees of freedom for angled windows.
