The EA-K-30/800-T chain drive is an electromechanical drive unit for opening and closing windows and flaps. It is used for smoke and heat extraction and natural ventilation. The motor can be mounted on any window profile or frame using different fixing brackets. All EA-K-30 chain drives are equipped with a rigid chain.

With a tensile and compressive force of 300 N, the drive can cope with all requirements in the residential and commercial sectors. The chain drive is equipped with a stroke of 800 mm, a soft start and a soft-close function. In the CLOSE direction, 75 mm before the end position, the soft close ensures a reduced speed and less force for seal relief.

Attractive appearance thanks to modern design

With its compact and visually appealing design in an anodised aluminium housing, the EA-K-30 chain drive is suitable for demanding properties in the residential and commercial sectors. The chain drive can be used to automate inward and outward-opening windows, flaps and side-hung leaves, especially for small and lightweight leaves. Installation is possible on main closing edges. Applications include smoke and heat extraction and natural ventilation. Even as a tandem version, the drive is hardly noticeable. Thanks to the flexible bracket system, many different installation variants are possible. (The brackets are not included.)

Fast parameterisation via SIMON LINK software interface

Equipped with the latest microprocessor technology, the EA-K-30 can be parameterised quickly and on site via the SIMON LINK software interface. Settings such as stroke shortening and force adjustment are just as possible as maintenance and the evaluation of running cycles. This prevents unjustified liability claims and guarantees fast maintenance and parameterisation.

Console K-K30-ZB Drawbridge application

Chain drives for smoke and heat extraction and controlled natural ventilation are known for their use at the main closing edge for bottom-hung, top-hung and side-hung sashes, whether opening inwards or outwards. The opening width is limited by the existing chain length. With the new bracket set K-K30-ZB, the EA(230)-K-30 chain drive can now also be installed on the secondary closing edge. With the so-called "drawbridge" application, higher opening angles can be achieved by mounting closer to the hinges. The accessory bracket is attached to the standard drive and ensures that the chain slides out at an angle with a guide roller. This application is only possible for bottom hung sashes.
