The EA230-K-30/600 is an electromotive chain drive for opening and closing windows and flaps for smoke and heat extraction and for controlled natural ventilation. With a rated voltage of 230 V AC and extremely low power consumption, the solo drive is virtually predestined for the ventilation sector. The EA230-K-30/600 has a pull and push force of 300 N. The stroke is 600 mm. The stroke length of the actuator can be shortened by 100 mm or 200 mm using DIP switches. This allows the opening angle to be customised.
Powerful and very quiet
With its extremely smooth running and low noise levels, the EA230-K-30 chain drive opens and closes windows and flaps almost silently. The drive also has a soft start and a soft-close function for seal relief. Visually, the EA230-K-30/300 chain drive blends seamlessly into its surroundings. The compact, elegant aluminium housing makes the chain drive particularly suitable for sophisticated building designs.

Chain drives for smoke and heat extraction and controlled natural ventilation are known for their use at the main closing edge for bottom-hung, top-hung and side-hung sashes, whether opening inwards or outwards. The opening width is limited by the existing chain length. With the new bracket set K-K30-ZB, the EA(230)-K-30 chain drive can now also be installed on the secondary closing edge. With the so-called "drawbridge" application, higher opening angles can be achieved by mounting closer to the hinges. The accessory bracket is attached to the standard drive and ensures that the chain slides out at an angle with a guide roller. This application is only possible for bottom hung sashes.
