The PA-KL²-DF-K-S bottom-hung arm² side-hung sash drive is the short version of the PA-KL²-DF-S and is also an extremely powerful drive for motorised opening and closing of bottom-hung, top-hung and side-hung sashes. It is suitable for use on inward and outward closing elements. It is installed on the secondary closing edges. This operator is synchronised.
The PA-KL²-DF-K-S operator can be used very flexibly with regard to the installation situation and direction of rotation. Depending on the type of installation, opening widths of up to 140° are possible, enabling rapid smoke extraction and ventilation in the event of a fire. The PA-KL²-DF-K-S side-hung sash drive is tested and certified in accordance with DIN EN 12101-2 for use in a natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilator and can also be used for controlled natural ventilation (KNL).
The PA-KL²-DF-K-S side-hung sash drive has special kinematics and the high-performance gearbox (> 20,000 load cycles) in conjunction with the stainless steel lever arm is very robust. With a push and pull force of 400 N and extremely small installation dimensions, this automatic opener is ideal for projects with high aesthetic requirements - especially for short, heavy sashes.
More force thanks to synchronised version
The PA-KL²-DF-K-S can also be used as a synchronised drive on bottom-hung and top-hung sashes that offer little space for opening. As a synchronised version, the bottom-hung swing arm drive can generate a force of up to 800 N and can therefore be used on heavy elements. Its high resistance guarantees reliable operation of the drive even in strong winds, for example.
Connection is made via the SICO-PLUG connector plug. This contains the SICO BUS programming interface, via which parameters such as opening stroke and force can also be parameterised directly on site and other status messages can be read out. The PA-KL²-DF-K-S side-hung sash drive can be networked with each other in synchronous groups and for remote control with SHEV control centres and the building management system.
The drive also offers a potential-free contact in both OPEN/CLOSE end positions. Sequence control and start-up delay are freely adjustable. The freely adjustable start-up delay makes the side-hung arm ideal for the automated opening of French casements. The PA-KL²-DF-K-S side-hung sash drive can also be used in combination with an additional locking device.
