The EA230-K-30/1000-S is an electromotive chain drive for opening and closing windows and flaps for smoke and heat extraction and for controlled natural ventilation. The EA230-K-30/1000-S is a synchronous drive that can only be operated in pairs. It is not possible to operate a single drive. The drive is characterised by extremely low power consumption. The EA230-K-30/1000-S has a tensile and compressive force of 300 N. The stroke is 1000 mm. The stroke length of the actuator can be shortened by 100 mm or 200 mm using DIP switches.

The EA230-K-30/1000-S chain drive with its 230 V AC is designed for use in ventilation applications and for reliable smoke extraction in the event of a fire. With its extremely smooth running and low noise levels, the drive opens and closes windows and flaps almost silently. The drive also has a soft start and a soft close function for seal relief. Thanks to its compact aluminium housing, the EA230-K-30/1000-S chain drive fits seamlessly into existing building concepts and is ideal for demanding properties.

Chain drives for smoke and heat extraction and controlled natural ventilation are known for their use at the main closing edge for bottom-hung, top-hung and side-hung sashes, whether opening inwards or outwards. The opening width is limited by the existing chain length. With the new bracket set K-K30-ZB, the EA(230)-K-30 chain drive can now also be installed on the secondary closing edge. With the so-called "drawbridge" application, higher opening angles can be achieved by mounting closer to the hinges. The accessory bracket is attached to the standard drive and ensures that the chain slides out at an angle with a guide roller. This application is only possible for bottom hung sashes.
