The SHEV 2 HM electrical control unit is a compact device in a plastic housing. Unlike the short-time operation of SHEV drives, holding magnets require constant control. In the version for holding magnets, the SHEV-2-HM offers a continuous load current of 2 amps.
The SHEV-2-HM contains the power supply, emergency power supply and the entire control electronics for operating 24 V DC holding magnets. In the event of a power failure, the emergency power supply ensures that the SHEV system continues to function for at least 30 minutes. The connection cables for SHEV buttons (manual control devices), smoke detectors and fire alarm system (FACP) are monitored. The housing can be sealed.
In conjunction with the EAP-HM locking fitting (0.125 A each), up to 16 holding magnets can be operated in parallel.
