Project description

A highly complex, customised loudspeaker lift system was developed for the end customer Hongkong Land. The system was planned, realised and installed on site in close cooperation with our partner Smartliving ASIA LTD. An almost eight-minute YouTube documentary gives you exclusive insights into the project phases: Planning, production, installation, DGUVV17 testing, logistics, final installation and integration of the Meyersound loudspeakers.

Our professional loudspeaker ceiling mounting solutions have been specially developed for large-volume sound reinforcement rooms where the highest sound quality, optimum positioning and maximum operational reliability are essential. Whether in spacious shopping mall atriums, modern sports stadiums or acoustically demanding philharmonic halls - our systems ensure precise alignment of the speakers, perfect sound distribution and secure integration into complex building structures.

Thanks to robust special designs, precise lift mechanics and intelligent control solutions, our ceiling mounting systems enable flexible, low-maintenance and aesthetically integrated sound reinforcement at the highest level. They are ideal for professional audio installations where maximum performance, durability and safety are required.

Initial position & Note on binding load release

The XXXL loudspeaker lift system described below is the technical basis for a heavy-duty, motorised ceiling integration system, motorised ceiling integration system designed for professional audio units, heavyweight loudspeaker bodies and complex ceiling structures.

As this is a customised heavy-duty system, all final load parameters must be confirmed in writing before the order is placed - in particular:

  • Weight of the loudspeaker to be installed (e.g. Meyersound 90 kg or E.g. Meyersound 90 kg or customer-specific)
  • Weight of the cover panelling, enclosure and acoustic panels
  • Additional loads (cables, control units, protective housing, etc.)
  • {{ ).)
  • Installation situation & static boundary conditions of the project ceiling

This authorisation must be given in writing by one of the following persons:

  • the lead AV project manager, or
  • the CEO of the responsible integration or construction company. Construction company, or
  • the lead architect / specialist planner.

Only then can the final structural analysis be carried out, mechanical design, safety-relevant configurations and the overall control technology acceptance can take place. Customised adaptations to mechanics, lifting path, tilt angle, boom geometry or control architecture are possible.

Instructions for installation and guide rails

The professional installation of the system is the responsibility of the executing installation partner or integrator. Integrator. This includes, in particular, checking the installation situation and the mechanical guide elements.

The C-profile rails must be completely clean before commissioning, dust-free and free of construction site residues (e.g. B. Wood dust, plaster residues, metal shavings or packaging residues).

Deposits or foreign bodies in the guide rails can impair the running of the system and lead to increased mechanical resistance. This can overload the drive and mechanics. In the worst-case scenario , this can lead to malfunctions, blockages or damage to the drives.

⚠ Important note on planning & installation situation

Checking the installation dimensions, TV compatibility and structural requirements is the responsibility of the customer or the{{ . of the executing planner or integrator. Before ordering and installation, please ensure that the selected TV model can be operated within the specified dimension, weight and movement parameters of the system.

Design changes to the product - especially to flaps, housings or mechanical components - are not permitted without written approval from Flatlift. Unauthorised modifications can lead to the loss of guarantee and warranty claims.

Flatlift provides all required CAD and installation data for download. By placing an order, acceptance of the technical documentation is deemed to have taken place. No liability can be accepted for planning errors, installation conflicts or lack of fit.

On request, we offer a feasibility and compatibility check in advance for a fee.
