The Linak Desk Frame 2 is a very stable and high-quality desk frame. The defect rate for these products is less than 0.1 % per year. That is a very low value. If you omit the height adjusters on the skids of the Linak Desk Frame 2 frame, you can attach castors. The electrically height-adjustable desk frame can then be rolled. We recommend that you always fit castors with brakes in the front area. You can then lock the table in the standing position.

There are two options for help when it comes to resetting a Linak desk
1. Linak desk reset or initialisation
First try to initialise the Linak desk or reset the Lin ak desk. Press the "down" button to move the Linak desk completely downwards. When the desk has reached the lowest position, press the "down / down" button again for 2x 10 seconds (press and hold). The Linak desk should then move down again for a few millimetres to the internal end positions. This tells the control unit that the desk is at the bottom. After resetting the Linak desk or initialising the Linak desk, the desk should be able to be operated normally again. In some cases, you may have to repeat the reset/initialisation procedure several times. This is normal and has nothing to do with a general restriction of functionality. If the reset or initialisation does not work, it is possible that a Linak component is defective. However, you need not despair in this case. 2. If the Linak desk reset does not work, you need Linak desk spare parts
If you have unfortunately carried out the above steps without success, you do not have to do without the great function of your Linak desk. This is a desk frame kit that allows you to retrofit an existing desk and convert it into an electrically height-adjustable desk independently or autonomously. It's really very easy to do.
Linak desk no longer raises, what can I do?
If your Linak desk no longer raises, this does not necessarily mean that it is faulty. It may also be that the Linak desk control unit has lost the current height from its memory. This can happen, for example, in the event of a prolonged power failure. It is also possible that the desk has been disconnected from the power supply for a few days due to a possible move to another flat. This is no big deal. There is a simple solution to this: connect the desk to the power supply. Press the down button until the desk is at the bottom(note: it cannot be raised during the reset process). When the desk has reached the bottom, release the down button and press the down button on the desk control unit again for 2x 10 seconds (press and hold, do not release). The desk should "twitch" downwards again briefly by 2-3 mm. If this is the case, the desk is ready for use again. If it did not work on the first attempt, repeat this procedure. In stubborn cases, it may take 5-6 attempts before the Linak desk can be used "normally" again.
