Linak CBD6S control unit replaces Linak CBD4 table control unit!
The Linak CBD6S control box for DESKLINE and HOMELINE drives replaces the Linak CBD4 desk control. Older Linak desks, which were produced before 2015, still have the Linak CBD4 control unit installed. If your Linak CBD4 control unit no longer works, you can order the Linak CBD6S control unit as a successor from our shop.
Linak CBD6S also works with older table legs and drives
If you were previously using a Linak CBD4 and it unfortunately has a defect, you can order the successor model CBD6S as a spare part from our online shop for Linak control units. The CBD6S replaced the Linak CBD4 in 2015. The CBD6S is backwards compatible and can also control older Linak desk legs. So if you have a Linak desk where the desk control is broken, you can order the Linak CBD6S control and connect it to your old Linak desk. After you have connected the CBD6S control unit to the "old" or existing Linak desk legs, please perform a reset. Resetting a Linak desk is really very simple:
Move the Linak desk completely down using the control unit, or with the remote control
When the Linak desk has reached the lowest position, please press the "down" button on the control unit or on the remote control for 2x 10 seconds (press and hold). =The desk or drive should then slowly "jerk" downwards again by approx. 1-2 mm within these 10 seconds. If this is done as described, the Linak desk has been reset or initialised and the control unit has been paired with the table legs (internal end position adjustment).
The Linak desk is now ready for operation again. If point 2 does not work immediately, you may have to repeat the reset / initialisation process up to 3-5 times.

The Linak CBD 6S 4-fold 300 W for up to 4 Linak drives can be used worldwide and is suitable for voltages from 110 V to 240 V. This is made possible by the new switching power supply, which always converts the input voltages to the required 18 V voltage. This is a great advantage for the customer, as from now on it does not matter in which country a Linak control unit or replacement control unit is operated. When selecting the Linak controller mentioned above, you can always be sure that you have the right controller for the respective national voltage.

The Linak battery box is a real revolution in the field of self-sufficient electric lifting columns and linear actuators. With the Linak battery, you can move Linak lifting columns and linear actuators independently for several days or even weeks, depending on the location and stroke length, without them being connected to the mains. The Linak battery box is connected in front of the Linak CBD6S and supplies the entire Linak system with power. Operation is indistinguishable from mains operation. Depending on the stroke length and load of the Linak drive, you can operate it autonomously for several days or even several weeks.

The Linak CBD6S control unit is available in various models. The CBD6S control unit is available as a control unit for 2 Linak drives or lifting columns, or as a CBD6S control unit for 4 Linak drives or lifting columns.
Function of the CBD6S
The function of the CBD6S control unit is that it supplies the Linak drive or lifting column with power and at the same time controls the movement of the drive. This ensures anti-collision via permanent current monitoring. This prevents jamming during travel.
Programmability
The Linak CBD6S control unit can also be set using software or an app so that the stroke or running speed can be adjusted. The software settings are made on the Windows interface or via the Linak APP.
Power supply
The large Linak CBD6S with 300W can be connected to 120 V and 230 V. The internal switching power supply regulates the input voltage down to the voltage required by the CBD6S. This means that the Linak CBD6S can be used internationally, for example in the USA and Europe.
Ports
Depending on the version, the CBD6S controller has 2 motor ports or 4 motor ports arranged on the front sides. You can connect 1-2-3-4 Linak drives here. These then run completely synchronised. If one drive no longer moves synchronously, for example due to a collision, the other 3 drives also stop so that nothing in the system can be damaged.
