Flatlift & LINAK - A technological partnership since day 1

Flatlift has developed TV lift systems based on LINAK Deskline lifting columns from the very beginning. Multi-actuator systems were already part of the portfolio in the early years and have been continuously refined, scaled and transferred to new architectural concepts. The following timeline shows the path from the first functional prototype to large-format moving panels such as those in the Federal Press Conference.

2005 - Company foundation & basic technical development

Foundation of Flatlift. First TV lift prototypes are created directly on the basis of LINAK Deskline lifting columns. Already at this time, multi-column setups are tested to ensure high stability and precise guidance.

2006 - Global shipping begins

Flatlift delivers worldwide - right from the start. Furniture makers, architects and project customers from Europe, the USA, Canada and the Middle East put their trust in the combination of LINAK actuator technology and Flatlift mechanics early on.

2006-2008 - Multi-actuator systems ready for series production

Multi-column systems are part of the standard portfolio right from the start. Sascha Rissel develops his own fittings to securely connect LINAK columns to TV brackets. Motorized and manual swivel mechanisms become possible.

2008 - Rotating, swivel & special fittings

Introduction of the first rotating systems - electric & manual. Flat screen televisions can be extended, swiveled or rotated in the furniture.

2011 - High-end contract solutions

Flatlift wins project access in the luxury sector, on yachts, in hotels and premium residences. LINAK impresses in continuous operation with its smooth running and long service life.

2014 - Extended lifting mechanism with four columns

Optimization of multi-column systems for large & heavy displays. Thanks to special fitting geometry, Flatlift doubles the lifting distance - systems reach up to 1300 mm.

2017 - Technology disappears into the room

Development of concealed ceiling and wall solutions. Moving panels & hidden TV become a design category in their own right.

2020 - After-sales worldwide via Lineardirect.eu

Global supply of LINAK spare parts, controls and components. Flatlift becomes central contact for Deskline spare parts & support.

2022 - Large format TV integration

Solutions for 85-98 inch displays. Multi-column systems become the foundation of large panel & conference technology.

2023 - The 7 meter moving panel of the Federal Press Conference

One of the most visible projects in the company's history. A massive panel wall retracts & reveals 4 large displays - powered by LINAK technology.

Today - World leader for hidden TV & kinetic architecture

Flatlift realizes projects in residential architecture, hotels, authorities & government buildings. LINAK Deskline remains the technical heart muscle - unchanged and reliable for 20 years.
