We repair your Linak DESKLINE & Linak HOMELINE motor
We can repair your Linak DESKLINE motor in our electronics workshop. We specialise in Linak DESKLINE and HOMELINE drives and lifting columns, as well as Linak control units. Linak drives are generally of high quality and have a very long service life. However, it has been shown that under certain conditions, even these can sometimes be defective. Years of movement can damage bearings and spindles or even the electronics.

Is it worth repairing Linak products?
Since many drive systems, linear drives and lifting columns for hospital and care beds, patient lifts or machine accessories are specially manufactured by Linak according to the respective manufacturer's specifications, in most cases it is not possible to purchase exactly these drives from us. This is because we at Lineardirect can only supply Linak DESKLINE and Linak HOMELINE drives from Linak's standard programme. Actuators and lifting columns that have been specially manufactured for the above-mentioned products of certain manufacturers can only be obtained from the manufacturer of the finished product. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to procure the exact linear actuator or lifting column required. Please enquire with the dealer from whom you purchased the care or hospital bed, patient lift or TV chair. The manufacturer usually still has units of these drives in stock.
Selection from the Linak standard programme
If the manufacturer of your product no longer offers spare parts, for example because the product has been discontinued for some time, you only have the option of purchasing a new product (new TV chair, new care bed or new patient lift). As an alternative solution , you can also commission a metal construction company to repair your product. The metal construction company can then select a drive from our standard programme and install it in your product so that it can be used again. This mainly involves adapting the drive mounting, which varies from drive to drive. The locksmith can align these mountings (eyes) so that they can accommodate the successor drive from our standard programme. The functional test is carried out by the locksmith you have commissioned. Mechanical repair
In the event of a mechanical defect, we can replace the gearbox or the threaded spindle, for example, as well as other mechanical components (screws and housing). We can also replace the mounting eye, which is installed at the rear of the drive. However, it can sometimes happen that spare parts for a repair are no longer available from the manufacturer. In this case, however, we can recommend a successor product with great certainty.
Electronic repair
In addition to repairing mechanical faults, we can also repair electronic faults. In our electronics workshop, we have all the test equipment we need to put all Linak drives through their paces. In addition to replacing switching components, we can also reassemble circuit boards or read out the internal Linak bus using an oscilloscope and check its function. For many electronic Linak DESKLINE & HOMELINE products we have spare parts or supplier parts available. However, in certain cases the manufacturer may no longer be able to supply electronic spare parts. If this is the case with your defective Linak DESKLINE product, we can offer you a suitable replacement product.
Duration of the repair
If you send us a Linak DESKLINE motor for repair, it may take 5-10 working days to check the Linak DESKLINE motor, depending on the order volume. Our incoming goods inspection department checks each drive and then forwards it directly to the electronics workshop. Here, the drive is then precisely assigned and you are added to our customer list. After inspection by our technicians, we can inform you by e-mail whether the device is repairable and you will receive an official repair quotation.

Our electronics workshop is equipped with everything you need to repair a Linak motor. In addition to the finest electronic measuring instruments and soldering technology, we also have an excellent mechanical workshop that leaves nothing to be desired by technically skilled personnel.
Delivery of repaired motors
If you have ordered a Linak DESKLINE motor repair, we need about 10 working days to repair the Linak DESKLINE motor. Once the repair has been completed, we will send you the repaired Linak DESKLINE drive by GLS. Within Germany, GLS only needs one day for delivery. At peak times, delivery may take two to three days longer. Every delivery is of course insured by the sender. Returned drives that are irreparable will be disposed of directly by us. Due to the nature of the process, it is not possible to return irreparable products.
The repair service for Linak products is only available for LINAK DESKLINE & HOMELINE series. LinearDirect does not offer repairs for LINAK TECHLINE, LINAK MEDLINE or LINAK CARELINE. LinearDirekt is not an authorised repair service partner / spare parts dealer of Linak Deutschland GmbH
