Linak a/s is a family-run Danish industrial manufacturer of linear actuators and lifting columns. Linak is managed by the company's founder Bent Jensen, who holds the position of CEO, while his wife Lene Jensen is Chairman of the Board of Linak a/s. Linak has an annual turnover of approximately EUR 650 million and has manufacturing plants in several countries around the world. Linak a/s sells its products exclusively to industrial manufacturers, who in turn install the drives in their products as moving parts. Linak's sales strategy does not include sales to end customers or small workshops, as it is not possible to cover a batch size of one.

Overview of Linak special drives
In addition to the Linak drives listed above, which consist of the linear drives and lifting columns product lines, Linak has also specialised in the manufacture of special applications. The Linak Baselift is a remarkable Linak lift product. The Linak Baselift system can be positioned in the plinth of a cooking island, for example, and can then lift the cooking island or even the entire kitchen with other Baselift units connected in parallel. Raising the kitchen makes it easier for people of different heights to work upright in the kitchen and protects their backs by keeping them in an upright position.
However, the Linak Baselift system can also be used in any other project where the installation space is minimal and only a small lift of 100 mm is required. The stroke can also be increased to 200 mm by using 2 Baselift units placed one above the other. Here you will find a list of the Linak Baselift drive unit and available sets:

Linak controls & accessories overview
To control a Linak operator, a control box (motor controller) must be placed in front of the operator, to which the Linak operator is connected. As a Linak operator requires a control unit, a Linak operator cannot be connected directly to the mains supply. This requires a Linak control unit, which also has an internal switching power supply to convert the 230 V mains voltage into the required motor voltage. You can then use the Linak Bluetooth remote control or the Deskpanel handset (wired) to control the drive(s) remotely. Here is an overview of the Linak control units and the accessories required for operation:
- Linak CBD6S 2-fold (control for up to 2 Linak operators only 230 V mains voltage)
- Linak CBD6S 4-fold (control unit for up to 4 Linak drives suitable for 120 V / 230 V, using multi-parallel cables you can control up to 16 Linak drives with 4x CBD6S 4-fold)
- Linak remote control (transmitter)
- Linak dongle (receiver)
- Linak multi-parallel cable (for CBD6S multiple operation up to 16 drives)
- Linak Deskpanel handset (wired)
- Linak programming cable (for easy parameterisation of the CBD6S controls)
