How does a linear actuator with remote control work?
The linear actuator is used, for example, in a comfort TV chair. Here, one or more linear actuators are used to continuously adjust the sitting position. For example, you can adjust any position on the TV chair, from simply sitting to lying down. Operation is extremely simple. There is a spiral cable-bound remote control which is connected to the control unit of the TV armchair. At the touch of a button, the backrest tilts backwards and a footrest simultaneously folds out behind the sitter's calves and raises the shins. Electric linear drives perform precisely these movements. The linear drive moves a fitting mimic, so to speak, which specifies the angle of movement by means of bearing points. As there are tens of thousands of TV chair suppliers, there are also tens of thousands of different fitting mechanisms, all of which have their own specially adapted linear drives. However, there are many more areas of application for a linear actuator with remote control. For example, in industry, on harvesting machines, in power plants, agitators, sawmills, or to make work easier at the workplace in component assembly.
